2022 was a testing and challenging year, with the war in Ukraine, supply chain disruptions, and inflationary pressures in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic placing heavy burdens on households and businesses. Despite these challenges, DNV upheld record-strong financial performance in 2022. The Stiftelsen Det Norske Veritas group of companies (Det Norske Veritas) achieved revenues of NOK 25,031 million in 2022 and a net profit after tax of NOK 1,902 million.
The strong results in 2022 are testament to the extraordinary performance of DNV’s employees. They also show that DNV’s services have never been more relevant – for the maritime, energy, healthcare, food, ICT, and a multitude of other industries.
