Det Norske Veritas donates rescue vessel to Redningsselskapet (In Norwegian).

To mark the 150th anniversary of Stiftelsen Det Norske Veritas and the one year anniversary of the merger between DNV and Germanischer Lloyd (GL), DNV GL is hosting a prestigious event in Oslo today. Over 1000 guests, made up of dignitaries, government officials and top industry figures and customers, will be present, including the Prime Minister of Norway, Ms. Erna Solberg.

“Celebrating the 150th anniversary of Det Norske Veritas provides an opportunity both to understand and acknowledge our history better, and to use a deeper grasp of the past as knowledge and inspiration for our meeting with the future,” says Henrik O. Madsen, President & CEO of the DNV GL Group.
